Bill is an accomplished musician with years of percussion experience playing many styles of music.
He began at the age of six with 6 years of private lessons, followed with 7 years schooling in large dance bands, marching bands and orchestras with two years on Tympani. He also completed 2 years of Music Theory courses with honors, for a total of 15 years of formal percussion training.
Bill has performed off Broadway on both Trap set and Tympani simutainiously in the musical South Pacific. He worked in a wedding band (The Concords) for twelve years, had a couple of rock bands (Tangent and Interlude) and even a new country band (Night Rider).
Bill's major influences are Cream, ELP, Hendrix, Who, Yes, Zepplin and others. He is still playing his 1967 Ludwig kit which he expanded to 9 pieces with 5 symbols, hi-hat and Iron Cobra twin bass pedal, neatly racked in the space of a typical 4 to 5 piece kit!
HARD RAIN allows Bill to come back to his roots, and with Rich on Bass, they form the hard driving backbone for this high energy rock band!
